Hello!

I’m Cat Nelson, a writer and editor specializing in food, travel, lifestyle and design. I’ve worked in magazines since 2013, starting as a Food and Drink Editor at a local Beijing publication and later leading Time Out Shanghai as Editor-in-Chief.

My writing has appeared in publications including Wallpaper* , Delta Sky and the Louis Vuitton Chengdu City Guide, and by publishers such as Phaidon, Fodor’s and National Geographic.

Originally from California, I’ve spent the past decade in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
